¿Morfología tipo mantis? El análisis del registro de Mike Battista

 

Hace algún tiempo tenía pendiente revisar un registro que siempre llamó mi atención: el video captado por Mike Battista durante una de sus sesiones psiónicas.

Al no encontrar disponible el archivo original, realicé un análisis utilizando la mejor versión pública que pude obtener, acreditando, por supuesto, la  fuente correspondiente. 

Después de revisar el material fotograma por fotograma, logré extraer una imagen que, a mi juicio, resulta especialmente interesante.

Al observar ese fotograma, hay un aspecto que me parece importante comentar. Desde hace décadas existen testimonios provenientes de distintos países que describen entidades con una apariencia insectoide, particularmente similares a una mantis religiosa. Este tipo de descripciones forma parte de la casuística del fenómeno OVNI/UAP y ha sido documentado por numerosos investigadores alrededor del mundo.

Quiero ser muy claro en este punto: yo no sostengo la hipótesis de que existan razas extraterrestres o interdimensionales. Quienes siguen mi trabajo saben que mi aproximación va por un camino distinto. Mi principal línea de investigación se basa en la posibilidad de que exista una realidad no observable que, por razones que aún desconocemos, ocasionalmente interactúe con nuestra realidad física, tal como lo plantea la Hipótesis ORBIT.

Qué son, de dónde provienen, por qué ocurren estas manifestaciones o cuál podría ser su propósito es un tema mucho más amplio, que desarrollaré en otra publicación, ya que explicarlo aquí haría este post demasiado extenso.

Dicho eso, creo que cuando uno analiza una evidencia debe ser intelectualmente honesto con lo que observa. En este caso, la morfología de ese fotograma me recuerda a las descripciones históricas de entidades tipo mantis. No estoy afirmando que eso sea lo que muestra el video; simplemente describo una semejanza morfológica que considero pertinente mencionar. Del mismo modo, también podría tratarse de un caso de pareidolia, es decir, la tendencia natural del cerebro a reconocer patrones o figuras familiares donde quizá no existen. Honestamente, es posible que nunca podamos saber cuál de ambas interpretaciones es la correcta.

Precisamente por eso le envié este breve análisis directamente a Mike Battista, junto con algunas preguntas sobre su investigación y la posibilidad de acceder al archivo original para realizar un estudio basado en la metadata del video. También le consulté si existiría la posibilidad de incorporar algunos segundos de este registro en mi próximo documental, siempre con su autorización y los créditos correspondientes.

¿Por qué es tan importante el archivo original?

Porque no se trata de comprobar si el video fue alterado. Considerando la trayectoria de Mike Battista, no tengo motivos para pensar algo así. La razón es mucho más técnica: cada vez que un video se descarga, se comprime o se vuelve a subir a otra plataforma pierde información visual. Para técnicas de análisis como el Hiper Zoom, disponer del archivo original significa trabajar con la mayor cantidad de píxeles disponibles y, por lo tanto, obtener resultados mucho más confiables.

Como muchos ya saben —y como quedó demostrado durante la investigación del caso Contacto de Otra Dimensión— este tipo de análisis depende enormemente de la calidad del material de origen. Cuando se trabaja sobre versiones secundarias, la pérdida de información limita considerablemente lo que puede recuperarse. Por eso siempre intento analizar la mejor versión disponible antes de sacar cualquier conclusión.

Mantis-like Morphology or Pareidolia? A Technical Analysis of Mike Battista's Footage

Some time ago, I wanted to take a closer look at a video that had caught my attention: footage recorded by Mike Battista during one of his psionic sessions.

Since I was unable to locate the original file, I conducted my analysis using the best publicly available version I could find, while giving proper credit to the original source.

After examining the footage frame by frame, I extracted an image that I personally find particularly interesting.

There is one aspect of this frame that I think deserves discussion. For decades, witnesses from many different countries have reported entities with an insect-like appearance, often described as resembling a praying mantis. These descriptions are part of the broader UAP/UFO witness literature and have been documented by numerous researchers over the years.

I want to be very clear about one thing: I do not subscribe to the hypothesis that extraterrestrial or interdimensional races exist. Those who follow my work know that my research follows a different path. My primary line of investigation explores the possibility that there is a non-observable reality that, for reasons we do not yet understand, occasionally interacts with our physical reality, as proposed in the ORBIT Hypothesis.

What these manifestations are, where they originate, why they occur, or what their purpose might be is a much broader subject that deserves its own discussion. Explaining it properly would make this post far too long.

With that said, I believe that when analyzing evidence, we must be intellectually honest about what we observe. In this particular frame, the morphology reminds me of historical descriptions of mantis-like entities. That does not mean I am claiming this is what the video depicts. I am simply pointing out a morphological similarity that I believe is worth mentioning.

At the same time, it could just as easily be an example of pareidolia—our natural tendency to perceive familiar patterns or recognizable shapes where none may actually exist. Quite honestly, we may never know which interpretation is correct.

For that reason, I contacted Mike Battista directly. Along with sharing this brief analysis, I asked whether it might be possible to access the original footage so I could perform a proper examination using the file's original metadata. I also asked whether he would consider allowing me to include a few seconds of the footage in my upcoming documentary, with his full permission and proper on-screen credit.

Why is the original file so important?

Not because I suspect the footage has been manipulated. Given Mike Battista's professional background and reputation, I have no reason to believe that.

The reason is purely technical.

Every time a video is downloaded, compressed, or re-uploaded to another platform, visual information is lost. For analytical techniques such as Hyper Zoom, working from the original recording preserves the maximum amount of image data, allowing for significantly more reliable results.

As many of you already know—and as demonstrated during my investigation of the Contact from Another Dimension case—the quality of the source material is one of the most critical factors in this type of analysis. Working from secondary copies inevitably limits how much information can be recovered. That is why I always seek to analyze the highest-quality version available before drawing any conclusions.
