Case: Silvio Morales | An Early Morning After 27F

Witness Name: Silvio Morales
City and Country: Colina, Santiago, Chile
Date of Incident: A few days after February 27, 2010
Approximate Time: 3:20 a.m.
Number of Witnesses: 1
Location or Coordinates: Colina, northern sector of Santiago, Chile

Investigation by Iván Vega Recabal

The following testimony belongs to Silvio Morales, a science communicator involved in the field of vertebrate paleontology. The events took place in Colina, in the northern sector of Santiago, Chile, a few days after the earthquake of February 27, 2010, during a period still deeply marked by the consequences of that event.

Make yourself comfortable, because a new UFO Testimony begins here.

My name is Silvio. I am a science communicator in the field of vertebrate paleontology, specifically Dinosauria, and I want to share my testimony because, before that experience, I did not really believe in these things. That changed when I saw it with my own eyes that night.

It all happened a few days after the 27F earthquake in 2010. I was in Colina, in the northern sector of Santiago, looking after a house that my father and I had repaired and put up for sale. As the hours passed, I found myself alone in the front yard, next to my pickup truck, listening to music.

It was approximately 3:20 in the morning when I clearly saw something about thirty or forty meters away that immediately caught my attention. I was able to observe it in considerable detail because the sky was completely clear. What I saw in front of me was a semi-oval object, resembling an egg.

Besides the astonishment caused by the sight, there was another detail that particularly caught my attention: the object appeared to be surrounded by some kind of haze, mist, or something similar. It was difficult to define exactly what it was, but I could clearly make out that appearance surrounding the object.

The object moved slowly from left to right without making any sound. It then began to ascend at an angle toward the left, and at that moment, something resembling a bolt of lightning came out of it. It continued climbing and, within a matter of seconds, suddenly shot off in the direction of the Andes.

It was incredible. I froze.

At that moment, I could not believe what I had just seen. I felt as though time had stopped during those few moments. Everything happened right in front of me, and yet I struggled to process it. There was also another occurrence that added even more to my bewilderment: the radio in the pickup truck switched off by itself and, as I recall, everything else that was running in the vehicle also shut off.

That experience opened my mind considerably and made me more willing to accept the existence of the UFO phenomenon. I had always thought it was difficult to imagine that we are the only beings in such an immense universe; to me, believing that all of that vastness exists solely for us would be far too limited a view.

But thinking about it was one thing. Living through that experience was something entirely different.

After that night, the way I approached the subject changed. It was no longer simply something I had heard other people talk about or had seen mentioned somewhere. This time, I had been the one standing there, observing that object with my own eyes, trying to understand what it was that was moving silently in front of me.

And that is precisely why I decided to tell what happened.

Because before, I did not believe.

Until I saw it.

No hacía frío.

No consumo drogas y nunca he tenido ese hábito.

Me quedé quieto y volví a mirar.

La luz estaba ahí.

Redonda.

Amarillenta.

Parecida a la luna llena.

Esperé.

Entonces volvió a moverse.

Iba.

Volvía.

Iba otra vez.

Todavía no sentía miedo.

Pasaron tres o cuatro minutos.

—No.

Sonaba preocupado, incluso asustado.

—Papi, mira hacia tal lado. Ve si alcanzas a distinguir algo raro.

Mi padre miró.

—No veo nada.

Y comenzó a acercarse.

Case: Daniel Seguel | The Light That Danced Over Santiago

Witness Name: Daniel Alejandro Seguel Rodríguez
City and Country: Santiago, Chile
Date of Incident: 2009; the witness does not remember the exact date
Approximate Time: Around midnight.
Number of Witnesses: 3, Daniel, his brother Pablo Seguel Rodríguez, and his brother-in-law Rodrigo, who observed the phenomenon from another location and used binoculars.
Address or Coordinates: Lira and Santa Isabel area, downtown Santiago, Santiago, Chile. The main observation took place from the gym and rooftop of a building approximately 24 stories tall. The account does not provide a street number or exact coordinates.

Investigation by Iván Vega Recabal

Daniel Alejandro Seguel Rodríguez is a psychologist and, at the time of the events, was in the final year of his university degree. The experience he decided to share occurred around 2009, when he was living with his brother in an apartment in the Lira and Santa Isabel area of Santiago, Chile.

It was a weeknight, and Daniel was engaged in an entirely ordinary activity in his building. What began in this everyday setting would become a memory that, many years later, still leads him to ask questions for which he has found no definitive answer.

Make yourself comfortable, because a new UFO Testimony begins here.

My name is Daniel Alejandro Seguel Rodríguez. I’m a psychologist, I specialized in sexology, and I’m currently forty years old.

What I’m about to tell you happened quite a long time ago, and to this day I still haven’t found an explanation that completely satisfies me. It’s different from many of the experiences you usually hear about when people talk about strange phenomena in the sky. That’s why, when I came across other stories containing certain similar elements, something about it began bothering me again.

Especially because, as the years went by, I began questioning the explanation we normally associate with these kinds of experiences: extraterrestrials, spacecraft, flying saucers. In my case, I’m not sure that’s necessarily what this was about.

It all began very simply. And I think that simplicity is precisely one of the relevant aspects of the story.

It happened in downtown Santiago, around 2009. I remember because I was about to graduate from university. I was studying Psychology at Universidad Central and was in my final year. It was 2009 because I was about to finish university. I was studying Psychology at Universidad Central and was in my final year.

At the time, I lived with my brother in a fourth-floor apartment in a building located around Lira and Santa Isabel in Santiago. My brother is a year older than me, a lawyer who graduated from Universidad Católica, and quite skeptical about these subjects, although I’ve always thought that somewhere inside him he retains a certain openness toward experiences that are difficult to explain.

That night was a weeknight. I can’t say for certain whether it was Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, although I have the impression that it may have been a Tuesday.

As I usually did, I went upstairs to exercise in the building’s gym.

The gym was at the top of the building, near the rooftop. It was—and as far as I remember, still is—the typical small gym you find in a residential building: windows, a few machines, treadmills, and two stationary bikes. From the bikes, you could look west.

You also have to picture downtown Santiago in 2009. There were plenty of buildings, of course, but the density wasn’t what it is today. From that height, you could still see a considerable distance and make out distant lights in different parts of the city.

The building was around twenty-four stories tall. So from the top, the field of view was broad.

I exercised while listening to music on a Walkman. My cell phone was very basic. I’ve never been someone interested in buying high-end phones, and back then mine was particularly simple. This matters because today, if you saw something extraordinary, your immediate reaction would be to pull out your phone and record it. In 2009, with the device I had, that possibility was nothing like it is today.

It must have been close to midnight, probably a little earlier, because I usually finished my routine before twelve and then went back down to the apartment to go to bed.

It wasn’t cold.

I remember that clearly.

It was a clear night. There were stars, although because of Santiago’s city lights you couldn’t see very many. I’m not originally from Santiago; I’m from San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, so I was used to different skies.

I got on the stationary bike and began my routine.

When you pedal in front of a window for several minutes, you inevitably end up looking outside. You see the buildings, the lights, the city stretching into the distance.

That was what I was doing when I noticed something toward the west, roughly in the direction that at the time I interpreted as Maipú.

It was a light.

To the naked eye, it looked very much like a full moon: round and yellowish.

I watched it without paying much attention until, suddenly, it seemed to shift slightly out of my field of vision.

My first explanation was immediate and completely ordinary:

I’m getting dizzy from exercising.

I don’t use drugs and never have. I hadn’t been drinking alcohol either. I was calm, doing my usual routine, but I thought the physical exertion might have made me dizzy.

I stopped pedaling.

I stayed still and looked again.

The light was there.

Round.

Yellowish.

Like a full moon.

I waited.

Then it moved again.

I could no longer attribute it so easily to my body moving on the bike, because I had stopped.

I watched it more carefully and began noticing something even stranger: its movement seemed to follow a kind of pendulum motion.

The light would move to one side and then come back.

At a certain point along its path, a building in my line of sight would block it. Then it would reappear as it returned in the opposite direction. The distance made it difficult to determine where it actually was, but the fact that it disappeared behind a structure allowed me to recognize that this wasn’t simply a sensation produced by my own eyes.

That was when it really began to catch my attention.

I left the gym and went toward the rooftop area. The swimming pool was higher up. From there, I tried to get a better field of view.

The light kept moving.

Back.

And forth.

Back again.

I still wasn’t afraid.

My mind searched for a familiar explanation.

I thought about those powerful spotlights used at nightclubs, parties, or shows that project beams of light into the sky. At the time, I had worked in nightclubs on a few occasions and was familiar with that kind of lighting. I told myself that someone was probably using a spotlight, something like the Bat-Signal: a light projected into the distance that, because of its movement, created the impression that it was suspended in the sky.

It was a reasonable explanation.

I stood there watching for about five minutes. I even began to get bored because nothing different was happening.

Until the pattern changed.

The light made another movement.

It wasn’t exactly like the previous ones.

And I thought:

This isn’t so normal anymore.

The spotlights I knew followed relatively predictable trajectories. They moved from side to side, traced circles, or followed mechanical sequences. This thing, however, seemed to alter its behavior slightly.

Also, when it moved downward, I had the impression that it became smaller.

At that point, I felt a need that I consider fundamental to understanding what I did next:

I needed someone else to see it.

I didn’t want to rely solely on my own perception.

I went downstairs.

For a while, I remembered having used the stairs, but later I reconstructed the sequence more carefully and I’m convinced that I took the elevator down to the fourth floor.

I reached the apartment and called my brother.

“Pablo, come up to the roof with me.”

He reacted in a way that was very typical of our relationship.

“Okay, what the hell are you seeing now?”

I didn’t explain.

That was deliberate.

I didn’t want to tell him there was a strange light, or mention the Moon, a UFO, or any other interpretation that might influence what he observed.

I simply insisted:

“Pablo, come up to the roof with me and tell me what you see.”

We took the elevator up together.

During the ride, I didn’t explain what I was looking for.

When we got to the top, I pointed in the direction.

“Look over there and tell me what you see.”

I didn’t say, “Look at that light.”

Nor did I say, “Look at the Moon.”

I simply asked him to look.

He looked.

“A moving spotlight.”

That answer was important to me.

He had independently identified the same thing I was observing and, moreover, had initially arrived at an explanation very similar to mine.

“Pablo, but it’s moving really strangely.”

We kept watching.

Three or four minutes passed.

And then a part of the experience began that genuinely unsettled us.

The light, which had initially appeared round, began to elongate.

It didn’t disappear and then reappear as something else. From our perspective, it maintained visual continuity as it changed shape. It was as though it were stretching and then returning to its original form, almost like a luminous mass that elongated and contracted again while continuing that strange movement.

We looked at each other.

The spotlight hypothesis was beginning to seem inadequate.

“No. This isn’t a spotlight.”

We then decided to try something else: get an observer at another location in Santiago.

My brother-in-law Rodrigo lived in Ñuñoa, around Campo de Deportes, a few blocks from Estadio Nacional. He was an engineer and quite skeptical about these things. Whenever someone talked about strange phenomena, his reaction tended to be disbelief or mockery.

We called him.

“Rodrigo, we’re seeing a strange light. Look out the window and see if you can see it too.”

At first, he couldn’t find anything.

His reaction was exactly what we expected:

“You guys are making up nonsense.”

He laughed.

But we insisted.

“Rodrigo, seriously. Go up to the roof, look west, and tell us what you’re seeing.”

We did tell him to look for a light.

Rodrigo had binoculars. As far as I remember, they weren’t professional equipment, but they were quite good. He went upstairs and began searching in the direction we had indicated.

Back then, staying on a phone call for a long time was expensive, so we didn’t remain continuously connected.

Some time passed.

Then Rodrigo called us back.

I remember perfectly that his voice had changed.

He wasn’t laughing anymore.

He sounded concerned, even frightened.

And he said something like:

“Dude... I see a circle of light with a black hole in the middle.”

A kind of luminous doughnut.

That was different from what we were seeing.

From our position, Pablo and I saw a completely luminous figure. Rodrigo, using binoculars and positioned elsewhere in Santiago, said he could make out a ring of light with a dark center.

There could have been an optical explanation for that difference. The binoculars might have revealed details we couldn’t perceive with the naked eye, or they could have produced optical effects of their own. I didn’t know.

But his reaction caught our attention.

Until then, there had been two of us observing from the same building. Now there was a third person, elsewhere in Santiago, claiming to see a luminous anomaly in the direction we had indicated.

The situation began to seem much stranger.

I tried to contact my sister, precisely because I knew she was interested in UFOs and these kinds of phenomena, but she was outside Chile, in Peru, and I couldn’t get her to participate in the observation.

I also called my father, who was in San Vicente de Tagua Tagua.

“Dad, look in that direction. See if you can make out anything strange.”

My father looked.

“I don’t see anything.”

That was information too.

At least from his much more distant location, the phenomenon couldn’t be seen.

While we were making these calls, the light continued to change.

It no longer looked simply like the original circle. It had become more elongated and continued the movement I would describe as pendular.

Also, from our perspective, it began moving toward downtown Santiago.

Initially, I had thought it was roughly in the direction of Maipú. Later, I realized that my estimate of its distance and location could have been wrong. From a rooftop at night, without precise reference points, it was very difficult to determine the actual position of a light in the sky.

What I could describe was its appearance.

To me, it was a very intense yellow. At one point I described it as “fluorescent,” although that isn’t exactly the right word. What I mean is that it was a bright, strongly yellow light, very clearly defined to the eye.

It had started out round.

Then it elongated.

It returned.

Its shape changed slightly.

And it kept moving.

I tried to find words to describe it and thought of something like a sliding light, a luminous gliding motion that didn’t really correspond to any specific image I was familiar with.

And it began to approach.

That is one of the memories I still find difficult to put in order, because it is precisely at this stage that what I consider the strangest part of the experience occurred.

There’s something about my personal history that also helps explain why my brother reacted the way he did when I went to get him.

When I said:

“Pablo, come up to the roof with me.”

His immediate response had been:

“What are you seeing now?”

Why?

Because he has always thought I go looking for strange things.

Even before that night, I was interested in strange phenomena, although my interest had much more to do with the paranormal and ghostly phenomena than with specifically investigating objects in the sky.

When I was a child, for example, I had an experience in the countryside involving a crying sound that, at the time, I associated with the story of La Llorona. We lived in a rural area, and that episode made a deep impression on me. Rather than repelling me, it awakened my curiosity.

My brother knew about that interest.

That was why he tended to tease me a little. From his perspective, I was the brother who liked paranormal things and might go around looking for ghosts.

That is precisely why I consider it important that, that night, I didn’t tell him what he was supposed to see.

He didn’t go up to the roof because I had announced:

“There’s a UFO.”

He went up without knowing what I had been observing.

And when I asked him to look at an area of the sky and tell me what he saw, he independently identified a moving light.

Then he watched its changes with me.

Rodrigo represents another independent element in the memory.

He wasn’t in our building. He was in Ñuñoa, around Campo de Deportes, near Club Suizo and Estadio Nacional.

He looked west from the rooftop of his building using binoculars.

His description was specific:

“I see a circle of light with a hole in the middle.”

A doughnut.

Pablo and I never saw that dark center.

My brother essentially saw the same thing I did.

It was my brother-in-law who described the ring shape.

And there is another detail that carries particular weight for me whenever I remember all of this: Rodrigo died approximately one year later from a tumor.

I don’t establish any connection between his illness and what we observed that night. In fact, when I was later asked whether, after the episode, I had experienced any illness, synchronicity, job change, or unusual event that I could associate with the experience, my answer was very clear:

“Nothing.”

Nothing good or bad that I could reasonably connect to it.

After that night, my life continued.

The ordinary things that happen in any life happened.

I don’t consider the sighting to have been an announcement, a warning, or the beginning of a chain of extraordinary events.

And that, paradoxically, makes it even more interesting to me.

Because it also wasn’t what I would have imagined if I had been asked to invent an experience like this.

If the whole thing had simply been a construction based on my expectations, I would have expected something else.

Back then, I believed—or wanted to believe—much more strongly in beings.

If my imagination had deliberately constructed an extraordinary encounter, a being probably would have appeared, or a saucer, a recognizable craft, a figure.

Something concrete.

But none of that happened.

There was only light.

And that is precisely what still troubles me today.

The experience didn’t match what I expected to find.

I didn’t see extraterrestrials or occupants.

I didn’t see a flying saucer, nor did I receive any kind of message.

I saw a light whose behavior I couldn’t explain and which, for at least part of the observation, was also perceived by other people.

Over the years, I found a comparison that helped me explain the sensation better, although not necessarily the phenomenon itself.

I thought of Fátima.

I had heard the story of the so-called “Miracle of the Sun,” the episode in which numerous people described extraordinary behavior by the Sun.

I’m not claiming that the two events were the same.

Nor do I have any evidence to establish such a connection.

But when someone asks me what I saw that night, I sometimes end up answering with a very simple phrase:

“Once, I saw the Moon dance.”

That’s the closest description I can find.

Just as in that story people spoke of a Sun that seemed to dance, I remember a light resembling a full moon moving in a way I couldn’t understand.

I’m telling my story so that if, someday, someone describes a round, yellowish light moving in a pendulum-like fashion, changing shape, elongating, and appearing from another observation point to have a dark center, I want this testimony to exist.

What matters to me is leaving a record of my testimony.

No puedo asegurar cuántos tenía.

No podía moverme.

No sé cuánto duró realmente.

No podía moverme.

Me preocupaba mi propia mente y mi salud mental.

No podía moverme.

La habitación estaba completamente oscura y comencé a sentir presencias.

Primero sentí una.

Después otra.

Y después una tercera.

Eran tres.

No sentía dolor.

No sé qué ocurrió primero.

Approximate Time: Between 11:00 p.m. and midnight
Number of Witnesses: 2 people witnessed the anomalous light; Melissa was the only one who reported seeing the entity
Location or Coordinates: Pichi Pelluco Cove, Puerto Montt, Los Lagos Region, Chile

Investigation by Iván Vega Recabal

In 2009, Melissa was in Puerto Montt, in the Los Lagos Region of southern Chile. The events she recounts took place on a spring night in the coastal area of Pichi Pelluco, a seaside location away from the brighter lights of the city.

Years later, Melissa decided to publicly share an experience that she had kept private for a long time and had initially told only to family members, friends, and people she trusted. Her testimony takes us back to that night on the coast of Puerto Montt and to a memory that, despite the passage of time, remains deeply present in her mind.

Make yourself comfortable, because a new UFO Testimony begins here.

It all happened in 2009, in Puerto Montt, specifically at Pichi Pelluco Cove. I was with a friend by the sea. It was nighttime, approximately between eleven and midnight, and I remember it was spring.

Almost none of the streetlights reached that part of the beach, so we were surrounded by darkness. My friend and I were listening to music, each of us wearing one earbud, while we sat by the sea.

Then, completely unexpectedly, my friend said:

“Look, a UFO.”

I looked up and saw a large light in the sky. I couldn’t say that it had the shape of a clearly defined object; what I mainly saw was an intense light moving in a strange way. It wasn’t following a straight path. It moved in different directions, making quick, abrupt movements, almost like a zigzag.

Suddenly, the light moved overhead, above us.

Since I was sitting on the sand and continued following it with my eyes, I began leaning backward. At some point, I lost sight of the light. I braced myself against the sand and then, when I looked behind us, I saw something I never would have expected to find there.

There was a being.

I looked at it from the bottom up.

Its body was extremely thin. Its skin seemed almost stretched directly over its bones, as though it had no muscles. Its color was difficult to define. I remember it as grey, although it also had a shade that I could describe as greyish-green. It wasn’t black, nor was it lead-grey or a vivid green. It was a strange color that, even today, I find difficult to describe precisely.

Its legs were very long and extremely thin. Its arms were also long, and its hands seemed to reach approximately to its knees. Compared with its limbs, its torso seemed smaller and shorter.

I also remember its hands.

Its fingers were very long. I can’t say for certain how many it had. My memory is somewhat confused about that detail: there may have been four, perhaps more, although I think I remember four.

I continued looking up along its body until I reached its face.

And when I saw its face, I became completely paralyzed.

It had a large head and deep black eyes, similar to the classic image that I later came to understand many people associate with certain depictions of extraterrestrial beings.

But at that moment, I wasn’t thinking about classifications or extraterrestrial races. I was simply standing before something I couldn’t understand.

When I looked into those eyes, I experienced a feeling that is extremely difficult to explain.

I felt as though that being had no soul.

And at the same time, I felt as though it was looking at mine.

It was as though it could see something inside me.

I couldn’t move.

My body remained completely motionless while I continued looking up at it. The sensation was so intense that I lost any normal perception of time. It felt as though I had been there for an incredibly long time, trapped in that gaze, almost as if I were hypnotized.

I don’t know how long it actually lasted.

At some point, since I couldn’t move my body, I reacted mentally. I remember telling it, without necessarily using my voice:

“Leave me alone. Go away. Leave me alone.”

After that, I was able to move.

I got up and sat on the sand. My friend had already been looking out toward the sea for a while, as though nothing extraordinary were happening.

That was when I realized that probably no more than one or two minutes had passed, perhaps even less. I can’t determine it precisely. For me, however, it had felt like much longer.

That difference between the amount of time I seemed to have experienced and the amount of time that apparently passed outside was one of the things that confused me the most.

My friend was beside me throughout the entire experience. He had also seen the light. In fact, he was the one who initially pointed it out to me in the sky. However, after watching it for a moment, he stopped paying attention to it and looked forward again.

I, on the other hand, continued following the light until everything else happened.

He never saw the being.

For a long time, he didn’t know what I had experienced that night either.

I didn’t tell him immediately.

In fact, it took me years to talk to him about what had happened. When I finally told him, approximately four years later, his reaction was to ask me:

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

The answer was simple and, at the same time, very difficult to explain.

I couldn’t move.

And I was also frightened of myself.

After that experience, I began wondering whether I was losing my mind. I remember thinking something like, “What the hell did I just see?”

I was worried about my own mind and my mental health.

That was why I remained silent.

For approximately two years, I told practically no one what had happened. At that time, I wasn’t deeply involved in these subjects. I knew a few family stories, but I had never seriously researched extraterrestrials or read about supposed races or classifications of beings.

It simply wasn’t something that played an important role in my life.

That changed approximately two years later, when I began studying natural therapies.

In that environment, I met people who talked about strange experiences.

I particularly remember someone telling me that certain entities had visited her in her bedroom and that one of them had touched her abdomen. She described a short, grey being.

A teacher also began talking to us about dimensions and extraterrestrial beings.

That was when I started researching and reading.

As I learned about those descriptions, something happened that affected me deeply: I recognized characteristics similar to what I had seen that night.

I thought:

“That’s what I saw.”

From that moment on, I began trying to understand my experience from a different perspective.

However, there is another episode in my life that still causes me some confusion, because even today I cannot determine with certainty whether it happened before or after what occurred in Pichi Pelluco.

It happened at my mother’s house.

We were going through a period involving either a move or returning to the house. It was approximately six in the morning. My mother had gotten up early because she had to accompany my aunt to a doctor’s appointment in Puerto Montt. Someone came to pick her up at around that time.

I said goodbye to her at the door.

I wished her a good trip and then went back to bed.

The mattress was on the floor.

I settled down and tried to go back to sleep, with my legs bent in a position that allowed me to relax my hips.

Then it happened again.

I became paralyzed.

I couldn’t move.

The room was completely dark, and I began to sense presences.

First, I sensed one.

Then another.

And then a third.

There were three of them.

I couldn’t see them, but I could feel that they were there.

I could also hear sounds.

It is very difficult to explain exactly what they sounded like. I don’t remember them simply as ordinary footsteps. It was some kind of strange sound, something that at the time seemed almost “galactic” to me, like the kinds of sounds you might associate with a science-fiction movie.

While I remained motionless, one of those presences touched my abdomen, approximately around my uterus.

I felt an enormous hand.

The sensation covered practically the entire width of my hips, from one side to the other. I remember it as a large hand with long fingers.

And there is something particularly strange about that memory.

I didn’t feel pain.

I could even say that, physically, there was something comforting about the sensation.

But I was terrified.

Because what my body could physically feel was one thing, while the fear caused by being unable to move and sensing those presences inside a dark room was something entirely different.

To this day, there is a gap in my memory regarding the chronology.

I don’t know which event happened first.

I don’t know whether that experience in the bedroom happened before the encounter on the beach or afterward.

I simply cannot place the two events in order with certainty.

Over the years, I have tried to find an explanation for everything that happened.

My current interpretation is personal. I don’t claim that it is the definitive explanation, but after what I experienced, I came to believe that these beings might exist and that perhaps they have the ability to move between different dimensions.

For that reason, I find it difficult to necessarily imagine these beings as completely physical organisms made of bones, blood, and matter in the same way we are.

Based on my own experience, I developed the idea that they might be connected to another kind of reality—perhaps dimensional, psychic, or linked to something I interpret as frequency.

I think a lot about the concept of vibration or frequency.

I don’t necessarily believe that a person has to be at a “low frequency” in order to perceive certain beings. Some of these entities, according to interpretations and testimonies I later encountered, are not always described as friendly, and many people associate them with accounts of abductions.

However, my own experience left me with a very particular impression.

I felt that there was a possibility of setting a boundary.

When I mentally said “no,” “enough,” and “go away,” it ended.

That led me to think that, somehow, there was something resembling free will and that this will could be respected. What struck me most was that I didn’t necessarily need to express it in words. I felt that simply thinking it was enough.

Over the years, I also discovered that other people reported experiences in which they claimed to have reacted mentally in a similar way.

Naturally, all of this had emotional consequences for me.

At first, the main one was fear concerning my own mental health.

I thought that perhaps I was losing my mind.

Later, when I began discovering that other people claimed to have had similar experiences, the way I understood what had happened began to change.

I even came to feel fortunate for having experienced something so extraordinary.

That doesn’t mean the fear disappeared.

For a long time, I found it extremely difficult to talk about that night.

Whenever I recounted the experience, my voice and my hands would tremble. It was a reaction I couldn’t control. I felt as though, while I was speaking, a part of me was returning to that moment.

It was strange because during the original encounter I could barely move, yet years later, whenever I remembered it, all of that tension seemed to manifest itself physically.

It was like carrying the fear inside me.

Even today, when I tell the story again, I can still feel a slight trembling inside.

I have also thought about how much our culture can influence the way we interpret these experiences. Although I hadn’t researched ufology before this happened, it is true that from childhood we are exposed to movies, television, and stories involving extraterrestrials, ghosts, and other phenomena.

I cannot determine how much that influences what a person experiences or the way they later attempt to explain it.

What I do believe is that when something is meant to happen to someone, it happens.

In a certain sense, I compare it to stories about ghosts. Suddenly, something happens that changes the way you see reality. Afterward, you can block it out, try to forget it, or begin investigating.

In my case, I chose to search for information.

I wanted to understand why it had happened to me.

At one point, I even considered undergoing hypnosis to try to recover memories or clarify the gaps that still remained. I consulted a psychologist, and I remember that he told me something that ultimately made me decide against it:

“Sometimes there are things that are better left unremembered.”

That phrase stayed with me.

For many years, this experience remained private.

I only told my family, certain friends who believed in these subjects, or people I trusted enough.

Speaking publicly was different.

It meant exposing a deeply personal experience and accepting that other people might believe me, doubt me, or interpret what happened in a completely different way.

But there also comes a time when you feel the need to let certain things go.

To accept that they happened.

And to accept that perhaps they happened for a reason we still don’t understand.

I believe there are people with a special sensitivity. Some speak of mediumship; others, of clairvoyance. Some people claim to sense spirits or see people who have already passed away. There are many different experiences and many different ways of interpreting them.

I don’t know what the definitive explanation is.

I can only speak about what I experienced.

I remember that beach.

I remember the darkness.

I remember the light moving in that strange way above us.

And, above all, I remember the moment when I looked behind me and discovered that we were not alone.

I saw that extremely thin body.

I saw that head.

I saw those deep black eyes.

And for a few moments, I felt that I wasn’t simply looking at another being.

I felt that the being was looking at something much deeper inside me.

I felt that it was looking at my soul.

And I couldn’t move.
