BRIEF GUIDE TO WRITING YOUR UFO TESTIMONY

Hello, how are you?

I invite you to write and send me your testimony if you have experienced or witnessed an event related to the UFO/UAP phenomenon.

No investigation begins with an answer. It begins with an observation, an experience, and the testimony of someone willing to describe what happened as honestly as possible.

I am currently working on my second book about the UFO/UAP phenomenon, following the publication of Contact from Another Dimension. If you would like your testimony to be considered, I invite you to share your experience in as much detail as possible.

Accurate information and the context surrounding the events are essential to any investigative process. And don’t worry about writing “like a writer.” What matters is that you describe your experience as honestly and thoroughly as possible. I will take care of the editorial process without altering the content, meaning, or essence of what you wish to communicate.

Take your time, read the following guide, and write your experience at your own pace. Very often, it is the smallest details that make the difference.

Send your testimony to: mitestimonioovni@gmail.com

1. Tell Us Who You Are

Briefly introduce yourself. You may include your name, approximate age, profession or occupation, and the location where the experience occurred.

2. Provide the Context

Describe the circumstances leading up to the event.

  • What year did it happen?
  • Approximately what time was it?
  • Where were you?
  • Were you alone or with someone else?
  • What were you doing at the time?
  • What were the weather and surroundings like?

3. Describe the Experience

Describe what happened in as much detail as possible and in the order in which the events occurred.

  • What did you observe?
  • Did you see lights, objects, figures, or beings?
  • What shape, size, color, or type of movement did they have?
  • Did you hear any sounds or notice an unusual silence?
  • Did you experience any particular physical or emotional sensations?

Don’t worry if some details seem insignificant. Very often, those are precisely the elements that prove most interesting during an investigation.

4. How Did It End?

Describe how the experience concluded.

  • What happened to the phenomenon you observed?
  • Approximately how long did the experience last?
  • Were there any effects afterward, either on you or your surroundings?
  • Are there any photographs, videos, drawings, or other witnesses?

5. What Impact Did It Have on Your Life?

Tell us how the experience affected you over time.

  • Did it change the way you think about or interpret reality?
  • Did it leave you with questions that remain unanswered?
  • Have you had any similar experiences since then?

6. Your Personal Reflection

Finally, share any thoughts or reflections you believe are important.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story. Every testimony offers a unique perspective and may help us better understand a phenomenon that continues to be the subject of investigation and debate.

Send your account to: mitestimonioovni@gmail.com

By submitting your testimony, you expressly authorize its use for research and public outreach purposes, including its potential inclusion in publications, books, documentaries, and other projects developed by the researcher.

Ross Coulthart Praises the South American Approach to UFO Research

I invite anyone interested in the UFO phenomenon to watch the interview conducted by Fernando Silva with Ross Coulthart. I find particularly compelling the segment in which Ross is asked about the interaction of ORBS and about the investigations currently taking place in South America—a topic toward which he expresses both praise and genuine interest. We appreciate his openness not only to what is happening in the United States, but also to what is unfolding specifically in our region, where highly relevant cases continue to emerge.

This point is crucial, as it opens a window into the regional work that, despite its importance, does not always receive the visibility it deserves among peers. In this sense, I dare to state that the book Contacto de otra Dimensi贸n represents one of the most thorough and systematic investigations into the specific phenomenon of Orbs or Orbit (a hypothesis developed within the text), presented as a documentary-style book and centered on an extremely recent incident that occurred in February 2023 in the Andes Mountain Range.

This case also includes one of the most revealing videos of recent times, perhaps comparable—depending on the authenticity of each record—only to the Kumburgaz video or the material captured by Michael Battista. In this recording, an anomaly can be observed that appears to metamorphose into various forms, including the manifestation of humanoid silhouettes.

For this reason, I believe this investigation deserves to be cited in a variety of journalistic, academic, and educational contexts, both for its descriptive value and for the strength of the audiovisual material presented. The frame-by-frame analysis occupies a central place in the book, enabling a much deeper understanding of the dynamics of the phenomenon and contributing valuable material to the corpus of documented cases in the region.

I invite specialized media—both national and international—to delve deeper into this investigation, because it is possibly—or may become—one of the most significant and revealing cases of recent years. This view does not stem solely from my personal experience; it is also supported by seasoned researchers such as Pablo Petrowitsch (former member of APROO) and other specialists who have recognized the relevance and consistency of the study.

The book brings together more than two years of field research, accompanied by meticulous analyses, detailed comparisons, audiovisual records, and technical evaluations that should be reviewed by all those seeking to understand the current landscape of the phenomenon. The material included—thoroughly documented and examined with methodological rigor—constitutes one of the strongest pieces of evidence for the existence of an anomaly that appears to coexist with us on this planet, interacting in specific contexts and allowing itself, for reasons still unknown, to be recorded with exceptional clarity in this incident.

The work is already available on Amazon, and in February 2026, it will also be released in its English edition, expanding its reach to a global audience deeply interested in this type of phenomenon.

Reading Between the Lines: The Key to Understanding What Lies Behind the Documentary The Age of Disclosure

Reading Between the Lines: The Key to Understanding What Lies Behind the Documentary The Age of Disclosure

I just finished watching The Age of Disclosure and I want to share an honest reflection with you. Like many of you, I expected to find evidence—something that would finally break through years of speculation and silence. But what I saw was something else: a well‑produced presentation with many important names speaking… yet without showing anything truly new.

Yes, the same voices we already know appear: Luis Elizondo, David Grusch, Christopher Mellon, Ryan Graves, Alex Dietrich, Robert Salas, Daniel Sheehan, Ross Coulthart, Gary Nolan—all of them offering testimonies we’ve already heard in previous interviews, conferences, and leaks. I’m not saying it’s unimportant to gather them all in one documentary. It is. But when you go in expecting clear evidence—unreleased videos, recovered technology, irrefutable documents—and don’t get it, it’s impossible not to feel that this was just another carefully measured release of information, a form of controlled disclosure.

I say this respectfully, but clearly: it feels as if someone is choosing very carefully what we’re allowed to see and what we aren’t. And in that process, they treat us like an audience that must be prepared before facing the full truth. I’m not saying this because of senseless conspiracy theories, but because of the way the message was constructed.

The documentary drags on and becomes tedious at times. The same information, the same viewpoints, circling around the same ideas. Where is the evidence? Where are the proofs we’ve been waiting for all this time? I understand that not everything can be shown—that there are protocols, national security, and conflicting interests. But then, why make us sit for almost two hours if, in the end, everything stays in words?

One detail I can’t ignore is the role of Luis Elizondo, who in this documentary comes across more like a professor than a former intelligence official. It literally feels as if he’s standing in front of a chalkboard, giving us a lesson on where this phenomenon comes from and where, according to him, we should be looking. His tone is didactic, almost paternal. That’s not necessarily bad, but if you’ve been following this topic for a long time, that attitude can feel a bit condescending.

Don’t get me wrong—I’m not saying the documentary has no value. In fact, for those approaching this subject for the first time, it can be a solid entry point. But for those of us who have spent years tracking every development, every testimony, every leaked document, this feels like too little. Far too little.

This documentary confirms something many of us already suspected: disclosure is not going to come all at once, but in fragments—filtered, digested, and politically acceptable. And that, far from being exciting, is sometimes disappointing. Because we remain in the same place: with more words than evidence, with more gestures than certainty.

So if you plan to watch The Age of Disclosure, do it with your eyes wide open. Don’t cling only to what is said. Read between the lines. Notice what is omitted. Listen to what gets repeated. Because, as always, the truth remains just outside the frame.

By the way, there’s something I can’t stop thinking about. I’m convinced that if the case Contacto de otra Dimensi贸n had been discovered in the United States—and had ended up in the hands of a well‑known investigator like George Knapp—it would already be making headlines around the world. I say this with full responsibility. The evidence contained in this case needs no embellishment; it is clear, direct, and visually undeniable. This is not speculation. The frames captured at that moment speak for themselves.

In that sense, Contact for Another Dimension—in its translated version—may actually have a stronger impact than the documentary I’m reviewing here. Because one thing is undeniable: people want evidence, not words.

Warm regards,

Caso: Pedro Orellana | Los Humanoides que descend铆an del cerro

Nombre del testigo: Pedro Orellana
Ciudad y Pa铆s: La Florida, Santiago, Chile

Y no eran pocas.

Aquello 煤ltimo me resultaba especialmente extra帽o.

As铆 comenzaron mis observaciones.

Aqu铆 ocurr铆a algo diferente. Aquellas figuras ten铆an una cabeza o zona superior muy luminosa, pero aun as铆 pod铆a observar el resto de sus cuerpos.

Eran dos.

Y ambas ten铆an la misma apariencia.

Descend铆an muy lentamente.

Recuerdo especialmente esa lentitud.

Pens茅:

Continu茅 mirando.

No quer铆a condicionarla.

Volvi贸 a mirar.

Despu茅s intent贸 describirme aquello que ten铆a delante.

—S铆.

Lo verdaderamente desconcertante todav铆a no hab铆a ocurrido.

Entonces me dijo:

—Pap谩, ahora son personas.

Aquella frase me dej贸 desconcertado.

Volv铆 inmediatamente al ocular.

Mir茅.

Y s铆.

Ahora parec铆an personas.

Primero parec铆an personas.

No vi nada.

Not茅 los golpes o empujones, pens茅 que all铆 estaba ocurriendo algo y despu茅s continu茅 durmiendo.

Hab铆a comido normalmente y me encontraba bien.

—Uy, me mare茅 —alcanc茅 a decir.

Permanec铆 all铆 aproximadamente tres minutos mientras aquella sensaci贸n comenzaba lentamente a disminuir.

Solo entonces pude incorporarme.

La gente comenz贸 a preguntarme si estaba bien y qu茅 me hab铆a sucedido.

La hab铆a visto permanecer all铆 durante bastante tiempo, incluso en d铆as muy fr铆os.

Mientras sufr铆 aquel v茅rtigo esa persona continu贸 all铆.

Yo no puedo afirmarlo.

Nunca hab铆a sufrido algo semejante y, desde aquel episodio, tampoco he vuelto a experimentarlo.

Se ve铆an claramente como personas. Llevaban pantalones cortos y luces frontales mientras bajaban.

Entonces ocurri贸 algo.

Pero ellos corr铆an.

Parec铆an estar huyendo.

Investigation by Iv谩n Vega Recabal

Pedro Orellana has lived for approximately fifteen years in the upper part of La Florida, on the eastern side of Santiago, Chile, very close to the Andean foothills. From his home, he has an expansive view of the mountains, particularly the area around Santa Rosa hill and Panul Forest, a landscape that for years had simply been a familiar part of his everyday surroundings.

Between late June and early July 2025, that familiar landscape began to take on a different meaning for Pedro. What happened during those nights sparked his curiosity and led him to pay closer attention to a place he had previously looked upon without ever imagining that it would become the setting for an experience that would be difficult to forget.

Make yourself comfortable, because a new UFO testimony begins here.

It all began sometime between late June and early July 2025. I have lived for about fifteen years in the upper part of La Florida, on the eastern side of Santiago, very close to the Andean foothills. From where I live, I have a privileged view of the mountains, particularly the area around Santa Rosa hill and Panul Forest, one of the last surviving sclerophyll forests within Santiago.

Until then, despite having lived here for so many years, I had never paid much attention to what might be happening there at night. However, around that time, we began noticing something that caught my attention: lights were appearing in the mountains.

And there were quite a few of them.

Some moved along the slopes, others seemed to go up and down, and there were also lights moving sideways at a speed that, at least from our perspective, did not seem consistent with the normal movement of someone walking across the mountain. Sometimes two or three would gather at the same spot. At other times, they appeared to stop above the treetops and shine their light downward.

That last part struck me as particularly strange.

It is one thing to see the headlamp of someone hiking along a trail at night. We are familiar with that because hikers and athletes regularly use these mountains. It was something entirely different to see a light apparently positioned above the vegetation, shining downward.

And I was not the only person who had noticed this. Other people living in this area, and even neighbors farther south, had told me they had seen similar lights, moving in ways they also found difficult to associate with hikers.

That was how my observations began.

One night, while I was once again looking toward the mountain, several of those lights were scattered across the slopes. They were not necessarily near the summit; many appeared along the lower and middle sections. Some moved from one side to the other, and at times two or three seemed to come together.

The previous night, I had observed something particularly striking: some lights appeared to be positioned above the treetops. So when, one or two days later, I noticed activity in the same area again, I decided to pay much closer attention.

That was when I saw two lights slowly descending the mountain.

I have a fairly basic telescope, but at the distances involved from my house, it allows me to see details that would be impossible to distinguish with the naked eye. Sometimes I supplement my observations with the zoom on my cell phone, although that night I was neither recording nor looking through the phone. I was looking directly through the telescope's eyepiece.

I aimed it at those two lights.

At first, I had absolutely no doubt: they were people.

That was exactly what I thought.

I could see two figures descending the slope, and their appearance was consistent with hikers. They seemed to be carrying backpacks and wearing clothing appropriate for the cold. From my perspective, they were simply two warmly dressed people coming down the mountain.

That was precisely why I kept watching them.

I wanted to confirm what I was seeing because, during the previous days, we had witnessed movements and lights that were difficult to interpret. But this time, everything seemed much simpler: they were two people descending.

Until something changed.

As I kept them within the telescope's field of view, those two figures stopped looking like the people I had been observing.

What appeared before my eyes is difficult for me to explain even now.

The two figures looked extremely tall. Their bodies appeared strong, athletic, or muscular, and they seemed to be wearing something like a very tight-fitting suit, similar to a diving suit or wetsuit. Because of the darkness, I could not determine the color with certainty. It may have been gray, perhaps greenish, but it would be irresponsible for me to claim a specific color because the nighttime conditions made it impossible to distinguish clearly.

What stood out most were their heads.

They looked large and rounded, as though they were wearing some kind of white or luminous helmet.

And I could make out their bodies.

That detail was important to me because I know what a person looks like when descending at night with a headlamp. Normally, the light points forward and, depending on the distance and angle, the person's body can be difficult to distinguish. This was different. Those figures had a very bright head or upper area, yet I could still see the rest of their bodies.

There were two of them.

And both looked the same.

They were descending very slowly.

I particularly remember how slowly they moved. They did not seem to move like two hikers normally descending a slope. Their movements were deliberate and conveyed a sense of heaviness. Through the telescope, they appeared very large to me, much bulkier than they had initially seemed.

My first association was inevitable: they resembled those depictions of tall humanoid beings one sometimes sees in movies or images related to extraterrestrials.

But seeing such representations was one thing. Finding myself observing something similar through my own telescope was something entirely different.

I thought:

“Something strange is going on here. Something is happening.”

The situation also began to connect in my mind with the lights I had seen above the treetops the night before.

It must have been around nine o'clock at night. The sky was clear, there was no visible Moon, and it was quite dark.

I kept watching.

I did not want to take my eye away from the telescope because I needed to understand what I was looking at. However, I also realized that I needed someone else to see it.

My family lives right across from me, so I called and asked someone to come over. My daughter Natalia arrived quickly.

At that moment, I made a decision that was important to me: I would not tell her what I was seeing.

I did not want to influence her.

I could have told her I was observing something strange or even used the word “extraterrestrial,” but doing so would have planted an idea in her mind before she looked. I preferred simply to point her toward the telescope.

“Look at what's up there,” I told her.

Natalia leaned toward the eyepiece and began observing.

I stood beside her and waited.

She looked for a few moments, paying close attention, and finally pulled her face away from the telescope. She was surprised.

“Dad, that's not human,” she told me. “Those aren't people. They're something else.”

Her reaction had a strong impact on me because I had not told her beforehand what I was seeing.

She looked again.

Then she tried to describe what she was seeing.

“Dad, they're tall people… They're like extraterrestrials. They're like the ones you see in movies.”

I needed to make sure she was actually seeing the same thing I was.

“Can you see it? Do you realize what's up there?”

“Yes. Yes, I can see it.”

For approximately five minutes, we took turns looking at those two figures as they continued slowly descending the mountain.

We both saw something similar: tall, bulky-looking figures with some kind of luminous head or helmet and what appeared to be a tight-fitting suit. Again, I cannot say whether the suit was gray or greenish. The darkness made it impossible to determine the color accurately.

But the most bewildering part had not yet happened.

At one point, Natalia looked through the telescope again.

Then she said:

“Dad, now they're people.”

Her words left me bewildered.

I immediately returned to the eyepiece.

I looked.

And yes.

Now they looked like people.

The same figures that I had initially identified as two hikers, which we had both subsequently observed with that strange appearance, now once again looked like human beings descending the mountain.

My daughter went back home to tell my wife what we had just witnessed. She left trembling. The experience had affected her because this was not simply a matter of seeing a distant light. She had observed those figures with me and had witnessed the same apparent transformation that I had.

First they looked like people.

Then they stopped looking like people.

And finally, they looked like people again.

To this day, I cannot explain what happened.

I can describe what we observed, but I cannot say what those figures were.

What I can say is that, after that night, we continued observing strange situations in those same mountains. We have seen lights, orbs, and people descending. On some occasions, we have also observed people who appear to flee or run after something appears near them.

Over time, I have learned to recognize fairly well what a hiker looks like from a distance. When there is a person on the mountain, we can normally distinguish them. We see their light, their movements and, depending on the conditions, even parts of their body. That is why certain observations attract my attention so strongly: some lights behave in ways that do not match what we normally see when a person is moving through the mountains.

Before all of this began, my involvement with the UFO phenomenon was practically nonexistent.

I had never studied ufology or seriously investigated these subjects. Thinking back, I do remember a few experiences from my childhood. On one occasion, I saw triangular-looking lights, and I also remember seeing objects that looked like some kind of Moon moving across the horizon around sunset, at approximately seven thirty in the evening. On other occasions, I saw lights crossing the sky.

But I never did anything with those experiences.

I never thought, “I'm going to investigate this.”

I never followed up on them or tried to turn them into a personal pursuit. They were simply strange things I had seen that, over time, remained stored away in my memory.

That changed once these observations began in La Florida.

After so many years of living across from these mountains, discovering that such strange phenomena might be occurring practically in front of my house made me start paying attention.

And when you start looking, something changes.

A difficult-to-explain need develops. You want to observe again, to search, to see whether it will appear again. Sometimes I am sitting at my desk and suddenly feel the urge to go outside and look toward the mountain, almost like an intuition telling me:

“Go outside. Look. Maybe there's something there.”

It has happened to me several times.

After those first experiences, some of my dreams also began to change. I have had nightmares and, on a couple of occasions during the early morning hours, I clearly felt something touch or push me in the back twice in succession.

I saw nothing.

So I cannot say what caused that sensation.

The strange thing is that I was not afraid. I felt the blows or pushes, thought that something was happening there, and then went back to sleep.

I do not want to automatically attribute those experiences to what we have observed in the mountains.

I can only say that they began occurring during the same period.

Months later, I experienced another episode that I still find difficult to interpret.

That afternoon, I had been livestreaming for approximately an hour and a half while we observed the mountains. We had been following various lights and objects that seemed to descend the slopes, along with some strange lights toward the area around Cerro de la Cruz.

We were just about to end the livestream.

Since my location provides a good view of Santiago, I decided to turn the equipment around and show the city.

It was approximately seven or seven thirty in the evening. I had eaten normally and felt fine.

I turned around, aimed the lens toward the city, and looked.

Immediately, I felt that something was wrong.

“Oh, I'm getting dizzy,” I managed to say.

Within seconds, everything began spinning.

The lights were swirling in front of me. My entire surroundings seemed to spin over and over again. It was an extremely intense case of vertigo, unlike anything I had ever experienced before.

Because I was still livestreaming, the people watching could hear me.

“I feel really sick. Everything is spinning.”

I could no longer remain standing.

I had to lie down on the grass.

I remained there for approximately three minutes as the sensation slowly began to subside. I remember that the spinning did not stop suddenly. Everything seemed to continue rotating, but increasingly slowly, as though it were gradually losing speed, until it finally stopped.

Only then was I able to get back up.

I apologized to those following the livestream and explained that I had experienced an extremely severe bout of dizziness. People began asking whether I was all right and what had happened to me.

But there was another element that made the episode even stranger.

About five meters away from where I was standing, there was a person lying beneath a tree. I had seen this person remain there for long periods of time, even on very cold days.

While I was experiencing the vertigo, that person remained there.

However, once I recovered and stood up, the person got up and walked away.

That was all.

They simply got up and left.

Some of the people watching the livestream then began asking whether I had managed to see the person's face, whether there was anything unusual about them, or even whether they might have been something other than a person.

Later, I spoke with people who interpreted what had happened as my passing through an area of “very high frequency” or even as a kind of “energetic attack.”

That was their interpretation.

I cannot say that was what happened.

The only thing I can say with certainty is what happened to me physically: I experienced a sudden and extremely intense episode of vertigo that lasted a few minutes and then disappeared. I had never experienced anything like it before and, since that episode, it has never happened again.

There was also another observation that I consider particularly important because it was recorded during a livestream.

On that occasion, I was observing two people descending the mountain.

They were clearly visible as people. They were wearing shorts and headlamps as they made their way down.

Then something happened.

To their right, a third figure appeared.

The difference in size was obvious.

That figure appeared to be approximately twice the size of the other two people. It had no light, and yet I could distinguish its silhouette. Strangely, it even seemed to be wearing something resembling shorts.

The figure moved closer to them.

And then the two people began running down the mountain.

That immediately caught my attention because I know that terrain. Climbing there during the day already requires considerable effort; running downhill at night is considerably more difficult and dangerous.

But they were running.

They appeared to be fleeing.

And behind them, the figure continued moving.

I followed everything through the telescope while the people connected to the livestream were also watching the footage.

The first two figures were clearly people. I had no doubt about that. But the third one was different: much larger and without any kind of illumination as it descended behind them.

I cannot say that it was actually chasing them.

What I observed was that the figure appeared near them and, afterward, the two people began running while it continued behind them.

Over time, I have read various interpretations of this type of phenomenon, including accounts suggesting that certain entities supposedly have the ability to imitate human appearance.

I do not know whether that is what we observed.

It is a possibility I learned about afterward, and one that I inevitably associate with that first experience, when two figures that initially appeared to be hikers changed before our eyes and then later looked like people again.

But an interpretation is one thing, and what we actually saw is another.

That is why I try to maintain that distinction.

Nearly a year has passed since that experience, and to this day, I still wonder what it was that we really saw.

Saludos.

Beyond Metal: Between Engineering and Myth.

I’ve just returned from the United States, and among the most memorable experiences was my visit to the Kennedy Space Center. It was a tangible encounter with the history of space exploration, but also—unexpectedly—with something that brushed against the mythical. Standing before me was the Apollo 13 capsule, an object whose shape and presence powerfully evoked the image of a UFO. I stood there for a long time, surprised by how familiar its silhouette seemed. In that moment, an unexpected thought crossed my mind: perhaps I will never be closer to an "unidentified flying object" than I was right then, contemplating that spacecraft forged by human engineering.

What struck me was that the capsule, though fully identified and documented, carried an aesthetic that touched something deeper—something symbolic. It felt like it had emerged from a dream or a shared vision. And then it hit me: perhaps much of the iconography surrounding UFOs—the standardized image of metallic discs, conical forms, or spheres with windows—does not arise solely from inexplicable encounters, but also from a continuous feedback loop between science, technology, and collective imagination.

In this context, I can’t help but recall the ideas of Carl Gustav Jung, who in his work Flying Saucers: A Modern Myth of Things Seen in the Skies, suggested that UFOs, beyond their potential physical reality, should be understood as projections of the collective unconscious. For Jung, these circular objects were symbols of wholeness, of a longing for redemption and unity in an era marked by internal fragmentation and external chaos. “Flying saucers,” he wrote, “can be regarded as archetypes of the collective unconscious, symbolic forms that emerge when the human psyche seeks to restore balance in a world it perceives as threatening.”

It’s not far-fetched, then, to think that modernity—with its satellites, probes, and spacecraft—has filtered its aesthetic into our unconscious. Just as ancient myths populated the heavens with chariots of fire and winged beings, today we do so with titanium capsules, pulsating lights, and geometric structures that seem to come from the future. In other words, science fiction and real science intertwine, converse, and mirror one another—to the point where what was once conceptual art becomes engineering, and what was once engineering may ultimately be reinterpreted as an unexplained phenomenon.

Perhaps at the root of all this lies our need to find meaning beyond Earth—to project our hopes and fears into the skies. The "flying saucer" is not merely an image; it is an archetypal symbol that channels the possibility that we are not alone, that there is more beyond what is visible and rational. And maybe that’s why, when I saw the Apollo 13 capsule, I wasn’t just looking at a museum piece—I was witnessing a connection to that shared collective imagery we’ve all built together, an intersection of the technical and the mythical, of the human and the unknown.

Quiz谩s esa necesidad de explorar no sea solo cient铆fica, sino espiritual.

Entonces s铆.

Reflection: 56 Years and a Million Possibilities Every minute of the flight from Santiago to Orlando was worth it. Every drop of Florida’s humid heat, every exhausting line under the relentless sun. Because the moment you walk through the gates of the Kennedy Space Center, something inside you shifts. It’s not just a museum or a theme park — it’s a kind of modern sanctuary, an altar built in honor of human curiosity. And there I was, looking up like a child, mouth slightly open, feeling small before the magnitude of those colossal rockets, those cyclopean launchers that once tore through the sky. There was something deeply moving about seeing those machines — once confined to books, documentaries, and childhood fantasies — now there, real, worn by time and fire. Witnesses to an era when humanity dared to look up and step beyond its cradle. And it’s impossible not to think: if we first set foot on the Moon just 56 years ago, how can we not imagine that other civilizations might have started that journey not 56 years ago, but a million? The scale is almost absurd. A million compared to fifty-six is like comparing an ocean to a single drop. In cosmic terms, we’ve only just learned to walk. We’ve barely emerged from our planet’s womb, and we already dream of other worlds. Isn't it arrogant to believe we’re alone? Or even to think we’re the first? That question doesn’t come from skepticism, but from humility. Because when you see those rockets, what you feel isn’t power — it’s wonder. What you experience isn’t pride — it’s reverence. These machines, so massive and precise, aren’t just feats of engineering: they’re symbols. They represent what Jung would call a “projection of totality,” a drive of the human soul to connect with the Other, the Unknown — that which lies beyond the stars, and also beyond ourselves. Perhaps this need to explore isn’t just scientific — perhaps it’s spiritual. Maybe every rocket launched into space is also a kind of prayer. A silent declaration that we refuse to settle for the here and now. That we are made, as Carl Sagan once wrote, “of star stuff,” and that our destiny is, sooner or later, to return to the stars. So yes — it’s worth it. And I wholeheartedly recommend it. Worth it for the childlike awe, the adult curiosity, and the distant — but entirely logical — possibility that we are not alone. Because if just half a century took us to the Moon, what tells us there aren’t others out there who began their journey millions of years ago? If the universe has had more than enough time to give birth to life and consciousness, who are we to think we’ve only just arrived and already know all the answers?
